MEET OUR 2025 SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS!
President Harvey Whille is proud to announce Local 1262’s 2025 Scholarship winners.

Christina Zamora, who works at the Brookdale ShopRite, was the winner of this year’s $2,500 Sam Kinsora Memorial Scholarship. She also won a Local 1262 Scholarship last year. Christina is currently pursuing a Nursing Degree at Caldwell University.
Our winners of $1,500 scholarships include:

Isabel Bartolucci, whose mother Rachael works at the Manasquan ShopRite. Isabel is currently a Freshman at Rutgers University and will be transferring to NOVA Southeastern University in the Fall where she will major in Marine Biology with the hope to pursue a career in coral reef and climate change research.

Jasmine Campagna, whose father Joseph works at The Stop & Shop on Broad Street in Clifton. She is attending Stevens Institute of Technology majoring in Mechanical Engineering.

Emily Christian, whose mother Rebecca works at the ShopRite in Hillside. This is the third time Emily has won a Local 1262 Scholarship. Emily is a junior at the New Jersey Institute of Technology majoring in Computer Science.

Hannah Doyle, whose father Devon works at the Newton ShopRite. This is the second time Hannah has won a Local 1262 Scholarship. Hannah is finishing her last semester at Monmouth University where she will be graduating in May with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education. She plans to start her Master’s Degree in Special Education this summer.

Gabrielle Gallo, who works at the ShopRite in Kingston, NY.

Tavia Hunt, whose mother Verlene works at the ShopRite in Pearl River, NY. Tavia is attending Drexel University where she is majoring in Accounting and Business Analytics with a minor in Finance.

Nicholas Jusino, who works at the Stop & Shop on Route 37 in Toms River. Nick is currently studying Social Sciences at Ocean County College and plans to get a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice so he can enter the Law Enforcement field.

Gianna Napolitano, whose mother Linda works at the Foodtown in Sea Girt. This is the second time Gianna has won a Local 1262 Scholarship. Gianna is currently a Sophomore at Georgian Court University in their Nursing Program.

Roman Sapio, whose father Lino works at the Essex Green ShopRite. Roman is a freshman at The New Jersey Institute of Technology and is pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
