MAY IS MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH

We would like to remind our members that May is National Mental Health Awareness Month and to let you know there are many resources for you and your families.

Local 1262 members who are eligible for health coverage receive their Mental Health Services from Horizon Behavioral Health Services.  You can reach them at 1-800-626-2212.

If you do not have mental health coverage you can access many low- to no-cost federal and state Mental Health Resources by calling 2-1-1, a nationwide service provided through the United Way that has live operators 24/7.

You can also call 988, the National Crisis Lifeline, which is operated 24/7 and directly connects you to trained counselors who provide immediate support and resources.

As always, if you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health CRISIS call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room.
